The marriages of Grand Duke Jean's children

The second of Grand Duke Jean and Grand Duchess Josephine Charlotte's children,  Hereditary Grand Duke Henri was the first to marry.  He married Cuban-born Maria Teresa Mestre.  The couple had met while both were students at university in Switzerland.

They married on Valentine's Day in 1981.

The eldest child, Princess Marie Astrid, was the second to walk down the aisle.  She married Archduke Carl Christian of Austria on February 6, 1982.

Six weeks after Marie Astrid married,  Princess Margaretha walked down the aisle and married Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein on March 20, 1982.

Margaretha's twin brother, Prince Jean, who renounced his rights to the throne in 1986, has been married twice.  His first marriage took place on May 27,1987 in Paris, when he married French lawyer Helene Vestsur.  This marriage was dissolved by divorce in 2004.    He married for a second time on March 18, 2009 to Diane de Guerre,  in a civil ceremony at Roermond, the Netherlands.

The youngest child, Prince Guillaume, married Sibilla Weiller on September 24, 1994 at Versailles, France.

All the photos come from my personal collection. I do not have any photos from Prince Jean's first marriage.
