Toerring-Austria wedding today

Countess Helene of Toerring-Jettenbach, 18, was married today in a civil ceremony in Munich to Archduke Ferdinand of Austria, 37, a nephew of the Karl I, the last Emperor of Austria Hungary.

The bride is the daughter of Count Carl Theodor of Toerring-Jettenbach and the late Princess Elisabeth of Greece,  whose younger sister is the Duchess of Kent.

The Duchess will be present for the religious wedding on April 10.

Do you know how this couple got engaged? That's a big age difference, 19 years, and she was only 18 herself. (Beautiful offspring of that marriage -> Sophie, married to Prince Hugo Mariano )
